|European Importers Pty Ltd trading as European Beer and Liquor Importers was established in 2005 as a main importer and distributor of Beer and Liquor from Czech Republic. EBL over short trading period was chosen by many of the largest breweries and liquor manufacturers in Czech Republic as an exclusive or semi-exclusive importer and distributor for Australian and New Zealand market.

|Beer was evidently brewed in Bohemia in the first millenium AD. The Benedictines in the Břevnov monastery (Prague) kept records of brewing and wine making as early as 993. Home brewing, common in those times, evolved in the 13-15th centuries into a number of professional crafts. Rakovník was a market town at first, to be raised to a chartered town later. Good beer was brewed in Rakovník before 1454, the year quoted now as the beginning of local brewing.Family brewery Bernard was established in 1597 in a small town of Humpolec, today’s Czech Republic. Bernard beer had won many prizes and awards in the national competitive market as well as overseas. The most prestigious award recently received by Bernard beer was 1 Prize at the “International Beer Challenge – World’s 50 best beers” held in London 2006.|

It was founded in 1895 and its activity directly related to the historical tradition of brewing of beer in České Budějovice which dates back to the 13th century when the town was founded chartered for brewing rights.|

The history Plzensky Prazdroj brewery and our beer begins in 1839, when the licensed brewers of the city of Pilsen decided to establish new brewery. The first brew and the introduction of new fermentation method were entrusted to brewer Josef Groll. On the fifth of October 1842 the first Pilsen bottom-fermented pale lager was brewed. This became the prototype for all other beers of the Pils or Pilsner type).

It was there that, in 1884, Lionello Stock formed the Camis & Stock Company, which distributed its products throughout the empire.
